Many men and women have “saggy” upper arms that are resistant to diet or toning exercises precluding them from feeling confident in a tightly fitted clothing. How are Arm Lifts Performed?

How is the Arm Lift Done

An incision is made under your arm lengthwise from elbow to armpit in order to remove excess hanging skin and fat. After that, the underlying supportive tissue is tightened and reshaped using internal dissolvable sutures to create the new smooth contour of the arm. When the incision is closed, the arm is then placed into a compression sleeve to minimize swelling and promote healing. The arm lift surgery, brachioplasty, takes approximately 3-3.5 hours from start to finish. You will see results immediately, and the scar will fade to some extent over the next 9 to 12 months.
