Treatment For Aging Hands in NYC and Great Neck (Long Island)

We treat our faces as though works of art, preserving our youthful appearance, and pampering ourselves with the finest anti-age creams and sunscreens, along with injectables. Sadly…but quite often…our hands are neglected. “Hands are the most exposed, yet forgotten parts of our body, and begin to show signs of premature aging much earlier than the face. Without a comprehensive regimen in the rejuvenation process, hands will certainly give away your age.” says Svetlana M. Danovich, MD, cosmetic / plastic surgeon and artist in New York City.

About the Procedure
What is the Hand Rejuvenation?

The SD Hand Rejuvenation protocol gives you a customized approach in the organic restoration, while giving the hands a more youthful appearance. For effective hand rejuvenation, there are two major issues that must be addressed: loss of soft-tissue volume along with issues concerning skin tone and texture. Initiation of particular steps includes, but not exclusive to, dermal fillers (HA Fillers), fat grafting/transfer, laser resurfacing, along with vein treatment.

Q: What is the most effective way to rejuvenate (get rid of wrinkles) my hands?
A: In my opinion, the best and the most effective way to rejuvenate your hands is using your own fat with stem cells and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) in conjunction with RF or CO2 skin resurfacing. The degree of improvement varies between patients due to the difference in skin health, age, nutritional status, and genetics. Nevertheless, this organic hand rejuvenation protocol not only stands out as a superior choice but should be accepted as the standard approach for patients requesting younger looking hands.
Q: What dermal filler will last the longest for hand rejuvenation?
A: I prefer to use Radiesse in conjunction with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) on your hands. It is a quick procedure with instant gratification that lasts for at least a year.
Q: How many syringes of dermal fillers do I need for complete hand rejuvenation?
A: Usually, the hand rejuvenation requires at least 3 to 4 ( 3-4 cc) syringes of dermal fillers to contour the backs of the hands. You may require a touch up with an additional 1-2 (1-2 cc) syringes between both hands in 1-3 months.
